Helping emotional regulation. 7-year-old with autism. Student allowed her mum to sit with her when she worked. Improvements in auditory processing, reading and behaviour observed by parent.
Details
After doing Cogmed, the student was not getting upset with her younger sister over small things. She did not have as many meltdowns when feeling overwhelmed. The most significant change was her approach to being home-schooled. Previously before Cogmed she would have tantrums when learning something new after Cogmed she was able to focus for longer periods at a time.
